One engine powers the whole lineup: a 2.5-liter turbocharged four producing 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It runs on regular fuel, and heavy-duty cooling is standard, which is part of why every Acadia is rated to tow 5,000 pounds.
The Elevation, Denali and Denali Ultimate come with front-wheel drive and offer all-wheel drive, while the AT4 is all-wheel drive only with GMC’s Active Torque Control system. Traction Select offers six drive modes, and the AT4 runs its own set including an exclusive Terrain Mode, alongside an off-road-tuned suspension, steel skid plates, red recovery hooks and Hill Descent Control.

A 15-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment touchscreen and an 11-inch diagonal Driver Information Center are standard on all four trims, so the Elevation gets the same screens as the Denali Ultimate. Google built-in brings Google Maps, the Google Assistant and Google Play, and for 2027 GMC adds Google Gemini. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a wireless charging pad are standard as well.
Super Cruise is the headline for 2027: GMC now makes its hands-free driver assistance standard on the Denali as well as the Denali Ultimate, with a three-year OnStar One plan included, and it remains available on the Elevation and AT4. GMC quotes more than 600,000 miles of compatible roads.

The Acadia stretches 203.96 inches on a 120.93-inch wheelbase, which is what buys the third row its usable space. Ground clearance moves with the trim: 6.77 inches on the Elevation, 7.30 on the Denali and 7.75 on the AT4, which is also wider and stands taller.
The Elevation and AT4 run 18-inch wheels, the AT4 on all-terrain tires with a dark machined finish, while the Denali gets 20-inch Pearl Nickel machined wheels and the Denali Ultimate 22-inch wheels in After Midnight Metallic. A panoramic power sunroof is standard on the Denali Ultimate and available on the rest of the range.
