    The 2024 GMC Canyon is a mid-size pickup truck built for action and ready to handle all of your towing needs. The new GMC Canyon is powered by a standard TurboMax™ engine with up to 310 horsepower and best-in-class standard gas engine torque at up to 430 lb-ft. Using this high-performance engine, the 2024 GMC Canyon can provide a segment-leading available max towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds. Max available towing requires a properly equipped Elevation, AT4 or Denali model with the available ProGrade™ Trailering System. On AT4X, the 2024 GMC Canyon has a tow rating of 6,000 pounds—and it drops to 5,500 pounds for the AT4X when opting for the AEV Edition package.

    The 2024 GMC Canyon brings the performance of a lifetime with a high-powered engine and off-road-focused features. The new GMC Canyon gets a 310-hp TurboMax™ 2.7-liter inline-four engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission for a best-in-class 430 lb-ft of standard gas engine torque. An Autotrac two-speed transfer case with push-button controls on AT4, Denali and AT4X lets you switch into 4WD as you go off-road, while the off-road suspension package includes a 2-inch factory lift, ultra-wide front and rear track and 9.6 inches of ground clearance.

    AT4X gets off-road hardware like exclusive driver-selectable front and rear electronic locking differentials, which help ensure both wheels spin together regardless of the amount of resistance, and an AT4X-exclusive Baja mode for high-speed off-roading on 4WD models. For 2024, the GMC Canyon adds the max-capability AT4X AEV Edition model, which includes exclusive 17-inch AEV beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler MT tires, stronger AEV hot-stamped boron steel skid plates and AEV stamped steel front and rear bumpers—and it stands 1.5 inches taller than the regular AT4X for a total 12.2 inches of ground clearance.

    The 2024 GMC Canyon gets a first-in-class available integrated MultiStow Tailgate Storage System with included drain that lets you securely store additional items on the road. As a mid-size pickup truck, the 2024 GMC Canyon provides a maximum cargo volume of up to 41.9 cubic feet in the truck bed, while manual-folding second-row 60/40 split-bench seats inside the cabin let you conveniently fold one of both of the rear seats to access more cargo space.

    The 2024 GMC Canyon features a versatile cargo bed with the functionality needed to haul all of your gear with confidence. The new GMC Canyon’s cargo bed comes with eight standard tie-downs to securely stow gear, remote locking/unlocking tailgate, available CornerStep rear bumper, available half-gate position for transporting long objects, available spray-on bedliner and available 120V outlet for off-road power needs.
